Terms of Use
Last updated: September 03, 2025
Welcome to FaithLink.live (“FaithLink”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, apps, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your region) to use the Service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under it.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date (e.g., display name, church affiliation, photo).
2. In-Person Verification & Network
- Connections are added only by scanning each other’s QR codes in person. This design reduces impersonation and promotes trust.
- If two or more users report someone as unsafe or untrustworthy, FaithLink may remove that person from affected networks and take additional action per these Terms.
3. Community Standards
- Use FaithLink to build up the Body of Christ: no harassment, deception, spam, or abuse.
- Respect safety: do not share anyone’s private or sensitive information without consent.
- Respect property and applicable laws when ministering in public spaces.
4. User Content & Permissions
You may submit content (e.g., prayer requests, testimonies, audio recordings, photos, map pins, comments). You retain your rights to your content. By submitting content to or through the Service, you grant FaithLink a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display that content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, delivering your audio prayer to invited participants, showing a pin to your network, or providing backups and logs).
You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to share content (e.g., images of others) and that your content is accurate, lawful, and appropriate.
5. Maps, Location & Live Sharing
- Map pins (e.g., prayers, salvations, answered requests) may include approximate location. You can choose what to share with your network.
- Live location sharing, if enabled, is time-limited and opt-in. Do not share someone else’s location without consent.
6. Safety Tools & Reports
- We provide tools (e.g., “report user” or “flag content”). Please use them responsibly and truthfully.
- We may, at our discretion, remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts to protect users and the Service.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate third-party services (e.g., maps, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications). Those services are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
8. Disclaimers
FaithLink is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We do not make warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not control how users conduct ministry, and we are not responsible for user actions or for outcomes of any in-person gatherings.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FaithLink and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (a) your use of or inability to use the Service; (b) any conduct or content of any user; or (c) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FaithLink from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, including for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Certain provisions (e.g., ownership, indemnity, limitations) will survive termination.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Audio Prayers & Voice Recordings
FaithLink enables users to record and share audio prayers. By recording, uploading, or sharing audio on the Service, you agree to the following:
- Consent: You will obtain all necessary permissions and consents from anyone whose voice you record or disclose. Do not record others without consent. Do not upload confidential or sensitive information (e.g., health, financial, or counseling details) that you do not have the right to share.
- Ownership: You retain your rights to your audio. You grant FaithLink a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, and distribute your audio solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, streaming to permitted listeners, performing backups, and enabling search or transcripts if you turn them on).
- Transcription (optional): If you enable transcription, your audio may be sent to a third‑party speech‑to‑text provider. Transcripts may be stored with the related prayer.
- Visibility & Sharing: Your audio will be shared with people you select (e.g., prayer owner, participants, your network) according to in‑app controls. FaithLink may remove or restrict audio that violates these Terms.
- Prohibited Content: No illegal content, harassment, threats, hate, explicit material, or infringement. Do not impersonate others. Do not record minors without verifiable parental consent.
- Removal: You may delete your audio prayers in the app. We may retain limited backups/logs for a reasonable time and as required by law.
15. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share information—including audio, metadata, device tokens, and optional location data.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles. Venue for disputes shall be the state and federal courts located in Wisconsin, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
